Lance Tolbert LT5

Mike Lull LT5

Here’s what Lance has to say about his LT5!

“I have had the pleasure of playing several incredibly well-crafted basses by Mike Lull Custom Guitars for over 14 years. Today, I have the honor of presenting the first ever Lance Tolbert Signature bass from this amazing guitar company. A special thanks to Spencer Lull and the whole team!

This bass is an extension of my imagination and my hands. I don’t have to fight to pull tone and articulation out of it. My musical ideas translate onto the instrument without anything in the way.

I love how the ebony fretboard sings across the whole spectrum, from the upper range of the bass to the low B.

From single coil mode to humbucker mode, from the bridge pickup to the neck pickup, this instrument can deliver any tone you’re looking for.

The Trickfish preamp has an extremely musical EQ. It’s easy to dial in settings to cut through without being harsh.

I’ve played this bass in recordings studios, small venues, and arenas. It sits perfectly in the mix every time. The mixing engineers on these gigs have expressed to me how much they love the sound of this instrument.”

Mike Lull’s Guitar Works is extremely proud to add Lance Tolbert to our family of Mike Lull signature artists. We are honored to solidify this longstanding relationship through two models that help him do what he does best — lay down the low end for some of the world's top artists!
