Custom Bridge, Surfer™ and RW/RP
The ‘60s Surfer™ pickup is a replica of the 1964 Strat® pickup that made plenty
of surf music for the Chantays and the Belaires. The detail in this pickup is
perfect for restoring old and updating newer instruments for sounds of the past.
A Custom Bridge version is also available for those players needing more output
from the bridge position. Also, an RW/RP version is available for the middle
position.

11024-32 & 33 • Antiquity II™
for Tele, Rhythm & Lead
Back in the mid ‘60s, Fender was only making Tele®s with rosewood fingerboards.
I kept asking Bill Carson to make an all-maple slab board neck for me. These
pickups are pretty much the same ones that I wound for that guitar — one of my
all-time favorite Tele®s. I keep the tone and look faithful, but I also wax pot
them to reduce unwanted feedback when using high
powered amps and effects.

11034-05 & 06 • Antiquity II™ Pickup for Mustang®
Neck & Bridge
I saw my first Mustang guitar on a ‘60s TV show called Shindig and a guitarist
by the name of Jerry Cole doing solos for many guest artists. Soon after that, I
had my band members drive me to 8th Street Music in Philadelphia to buy my first
Mustang. The ‘60s Mustang replica pickups feature the same look and sound of the
early pickups. The Alnico V magnet’s surface looks different from the older Duo-SonicTM
pickups which used untumbled Alnicos. I re-created this same look. This pickup
can also be used in a Stratocaster® for cool tones.
11034-35 & 36 • Antiquity II™ Pickup for Jazzmaster®
Neck & Bridge
The Jazzmaster® pickup was one of my favorite sounds during the ‘60s. I wore out
many phonograph needles listening to groups like The Ventures and players like
Roy Lanham who got amazing sounds from the Jazzmaster®. In combination with the
floating tremolo, the Jazzmaster® pickup has a unique tone that was heard on
many mid- and late-‘60s recordings. Check out album covers from the great ‘60s
instrumental bands and chances are, you’ll see a Jazzmaster®.
11034-25 & 26 • Antiquity II™ Pickup for Jaguar®
Neck & Bridge
The mid-‘60s Jaguar® was an important part of the surf sound for dozens of
Southern California bands and was heard on many TV and movie soundtracks. This
replica of the ‘60s pickup is perfect for restoring your instrument or replacing
damaged or non-existing
pickups. The pickup is a direct replacement that fits existing Jaguar “claw”
pickup covers. The pickup will restore the traditional sound of your instrument.

11044-05 & 06 • Antiquity II™ Pickup for Jazz Bass®, Neck & Bridge
The Jazz Bass pickup is made to the specifications of the mid ‘60s production
instruments and is very similar to the pickups I re-wound for Jaco back in the
early ‘80s. The pickup is wound for the right amount of output and brightness
without being too muddy or thin.
11044-16 Antiquity II™ Pickup for P-Bass®
This P-Bass® replica pickup features the look and sound of the ‘60s tradition.
It’s perfect for restoring your old instrument and comes with a brass bottom
plate to help insure ease of mounting. The coils are balanced for noise free
performance.
11044-17 • Antiquity II™ Pickup for Single Coil
P-Bass®
Often called the Tele® Bass, this pickup keeps the traditional look
of the ‘50s and ‘60s. The slightly stronger Alnico V rod magnets gives the
pickup more presence and output. It’s a little fatter and fuller-sounding than
the ‘50s Antiquity pickup.
