Martin Neck reset continued
Now it's time to put the neck back on.
The dovetail joint is cleaned and the neck heel is re-shaped to change the pitch of the neck.

The pitch is checked against the bridge height with a straight edge. This assures that good action will be possible with a nice saddle height.

When the fit is right, it's time to get it ready for the clamps. Always clamp up any type of glue job before the glue is applied. Any clamping problems are best addressed without glue present.

All glued and clamped. Now the guitar is set aside to dry for 48 hours.
