Martin Neck reset continued
Steam is injected into the neck joint.

The steam enters one of the holes drilled earlier and exits through the second hole. As it flows through the joint, it dissolves the glue bond.
With the help of a special jig, the
neck is slowly separated from the body.
The neck and body are now apart and they will be set aside for a few days. This allows the guitar to relax and to have any moisture evaporate. The clamp is put on the heel to prevent any separation at the fingerboard.

The nice thing about Martin guitars is that they are made to come apart.
