Bryan Beller
June 2005;
Bryan Beller will
be working his way across the country this summer, touring with The Mike
Keneally Band in June. Then he's off to Europe to play two special Steve Vai
shows in Holland - special because it will be with a full-blown orchestra, and
special because the shows will be recorded for an upcoming album and DVD. And
also special because Bryan will be using both his fretted and
fretless Modern 5's!
Then it's time for
three months of rehearsals with Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa, as they prepare for
the unprecedented "Zappa Plays Zappa" European tour in October/November, in
which an 8-piece band (with Beller on bass) will tackle some of Frank's most
difficult material. It'll be the first authorized performance of the music of
Frank Zappa in over ten years. Looks like Bryan's Modern 5 will be getting
quite a workout!
