With the necessary inlays removed and the fingerboard radius determined by using a special radius gage, it is time to start the leveling process.

The leveling and truing process is done by using both a flat and radiused sanding block. This allows us to achieve the most consistent fingerboard radius.

With the fingerboard at the correct and consistent radius, the inlay slots are cleaned up and ready to have the original inlay glued back into place.

The inlays are glued back into place with a small amount of superglue. Then a small amount of leveling is done to the inlay area to blend it all together.
